School Kits for LWR

School Kits for Lutheran World Relief (LWR): Why school kits? To the children who receive School Kits, these supplies mean the difference between getting an education or not. Public school is usually free, but in the places where LWR works, even a few required supplies, like pens and paper, may be more than many families can afford. School Kits give children in developing countries the “leg up” they need to build a better life for themselves and their families.

A list of contents with instructions for making a school kit is on the bulletin board and on the table in the gathering area.

For more information and instructions on how to put them together, visit the Lutheran World Relief website at:

Making School Kits for LWR is one of four projects that is being lifted up for your consideration during Pentecost, which continues until November 30.

Place your kits in the designated containers located by the keypad door.
